Indicate / allow reminder of current objectives during gameplay

I could get through about an hour to two hours at a time, but at some point, had to cease playing due to physical pain. After taking it easy, I attempted to resume the game. I didn’t remember what my current micro-objective was, and I had a hard time remembering where exactly I needed to be within the game’s world.

What you’re meant to be doing or where you’re meant to be going can sometimes be difficult to recall for any player, but especially for people who have impaired memory, or who need to take long breaks between play sessions.

A reminder can help greatly. Either permanently displayed, on player request, or triggered automatically, by for example spending a long time without making any progress towards an objective.
